Christof Group selects Human Resources Planning software solution for payroll and personnel administration processes

The Austrian group has over 50 years of experience in the field of renewable energy, installations and equipment construction, acting as integration specialist for on demand solutions, as well as permanent support for the facilities offered. The group has 19 branches and a number of 2700 employees.

Christof decided to use Romanian Software integrated software solution for payroll and personnel administration processes, as well as for keeping the employees’ time, following a selection process during which the competitors proved configurations’ flexibility and multiple functionalities aimed to increase the efficiency within the human resources department.

Prior to the use of Human Resources Planning, the payroll activities, timesheets collection and personnel administration within Christof assumed multiple manual processing. These activities were automated with Romanian Software applications by configuring complex computation algorithms and by correlations between the solution components, allowing the human resources department to redirect its resources towards strategic development activities.

Due to the complexity of the payroll practice within the group, the Romanian Software payroll application was customized to allow the applicability of certain computation algorithms if cumulative conditions of personnel group belonging and schedule allocation are met, at the Christof group level being companies where certain employees’ categories, that were transferred from other units, have different collective agreements applicable, consequently for these employees different computation algorithms for determining certain calculation elements are used.

Therefore, at certain companies within the group, multiple grids were necessary in order to determine the vacation entitlement, length of service and loyalty payments, as well as different ways to calculate the hourly salary, vacation allowance and computation bases, depending on the personnel category.       

Time Management software allowed the configuration of multiple work schedules, with diagrams for determining the entitlements of the employees working in uneven shifts, with multiple validations to ensure the accuracy and also the legislative compliance at the electronic activity sheets filling. Time management application transfers the gathered data into the payroll computation software upon the pre-established approval flow completion.

Romanian Software and Christof Group managed to complete the implementation of the solution in the estimated time of one month, based on a good coordination and by respecting the deadlines. Staring June 1st, Christof Group benefits of the Human Resources Planning integrated solution, in order to carry the time management, payroll and personnel administration processes.
